Frame 38D AC magnetic contactor built for the heavy end of the motor control spectrum. It delivers a 50A continuous current rating and motor capacity up to 18.5 kW at 380 to 440V, stepping up where Frame 26 units reach their limit without sacrificing the modular flexibility the SC-NEXT platform is known for. AC coil operation works straight off a standard control transformer, keeping panel design simple and cost-effective. Bifurcated auxiliary contacts interface cleanly with PLC inputs, Fuji’s snap-on accessory system allows contact blocks, surge suppressors, and operation counters to be added in the field without rewiring, and full IEC 60947-4-1 and JIS C 8201-4-1 certification ensures confident deployment across both domestic and export machinery builds. The contactor is available in a range of auxiliary contact configurations and coil voltages to suit any control architecture, from straightforward run-status feedback through to more complex interlock schemes.
